Hartford was originally set up in 1965, The factory, with 42,500 square feet of production area, is able to produce in excess of 12,000 motorbikes and 40,000 engines each year, exporting to over 30 countries world wide.

Hartford is the only Taiwanese manufacturer to export engines to other motorcycle factories. These CG engines come in 125cc, 150cc and 200cc capacities and are certified by Honda Quality Control.

Hartford design and build and develop bikes in house thus maintaining quality control over all design and build processes, they have been presented with the ISO 9002 Quality Assurance Certificate amongst many, to guarantee standards of product quality. All vehicles are manufactured to current Euro II specifications.
